Most Grocery Stores Do Not Require Masks

Masks are back in the Bay Area of California and many places nationwide.  Fret not, let's join in peaceful civil disobedience.

If you inform the store that "I have a medical exemption", these grocery stores let you shop mask free.  You do not need to show your proof of having a medical condition:

  • Targets
  • Sprouts Farmers Markets
  • Trader Joe's
  • Whole Foods
  • Safeways
  • Walmarts
  • CVS (can be hit and miss)
  • Smart & Final
  • Lucky's
  • Costco
These grocery stores do not:
  • Lunardi's
  • Some Grocery Outlets
  • Cost Plus World Market
